Next part of the online course School of Bobbin Lace. Part P1 - Plait II contains lessons 11 and 12 and 19 bobbin lace patterns. The lessons focus on plait lace.


The course consists of a Smart textbook, which is in the form of double-sided A4 sheets suitable for a binder with a divider. The Smart textbook contains QR codes that you can use to connect to video tutorials or find more information on a given topic. The chapters are clearly organized into sections.


The course takes the form of lessons in which you will learn different bobbin-making techniques with the help of patterns and video tutorials. To access the video tutorials, you must enter an email address ending in “@gmail.com” in the notes. This email address cannot be changed for 24 months. 


In the 'Bobbin Lace Maker - Beginner 2 (Z2)' course, you will learn what rules and principles apply when making lace, the abbreviated development and history of lace, how to make a cloth stitch and a half stitch with different edges, how to pass thick thread or pairs into the cloth stitch and the half stitch, how to make basic sewing joints, a simple corner and a simple arc, how to make a few embellishments and lace pieces.
