Bobbin Lace School - Beginner (Z1) - Slovak

The online course Bobbin Lace School consists of a textbook, which is in the form of double-sided A4 sheets suitable for a binder with a divider (12 parts).

The course takes the form of lessons in which you will learn different bobbin-making techniques with the help of patterns and video tutorials. To access the video tutorials, you must enter an email address ending in "...@gmail.com" in the notes. This email address cannot be changed for 24 months.

Basics of bobbin lace: Beginner (Z1)

• We will introduce the basic terms and the basic classification of lace.
• We will explain what tools are needed. We will also explain how to wind the bobbins. We will also explain how to prepare the pattern. Finally, we will explain how to tie the knots.
• We will learn how to make a plait with picots.
• You will also learn how to make a simple cloth stitch (linen stitch).
